Trooper Rear-Ended While Responding To Report

A South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper is recovering from injuries sustained during an incident on I-29 Friday.
Trooper Lyndsey Dubbelde was responding to a report of boxes scattered on the road south of the Dell Rapids exit, just before 5:30 p.m.
Dubbelde had pulled off the road and was about to get out of her vehicle when her car was hit by another driver.
She was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital and treated for undisclosed injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was arrested for reckless driving.
