Trial for a South Dakota man accused of killing his infant son has been moved out of Bon Homme County and delayed by a couple of months.
Thirty-eight-year-old Chris Miller is accused of killing 4-month-old Jacob in March 2011 by shaking and beating the child. He has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges and was to stand trial in Tyndall beginning Oct. 29.
Miller asked earlier this fall that the trial be moved. Judge Glen Eng has moved the trial to the Turner County Courthouse in Parker and delayed it until January.
The trial is expected to last more than two weeks.
