Trendigital Summit To Offer Free Online Marketing Advice

January 22, 2014, 5:58 PM by Hailey Higgins

Trendigital Summit To Offer Free Online Marketing Advice
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

From what's trending to wearable technology, it can be hard for even the most seasoned professionals to keep up with ever-changing world of online marketing.

Thursday’s Trendigital Technology and Marketing Summit is a free opportunity to learn from local and national industry leaders.

More than 300 people packed inside the first ever Trendigital Summit last year. Because of its success, KELO-TV and other sponsors are bringing it back.

"The response that we got the first time was so great," Grace Holsen, KELO Interactive Specialist said. "The digital world is growing so fast and there is so much to keep up with and keep track of."

The event is aimed at business marketing and communication professionals who want to learn the ins-and-outs of the latest digital trends. But you don't have to be an expert to take something away from the event.

"It's going to be all sorts of people, small business people, large businesses, everybody in between so really anybody who has somewhat of an interest in digital marketing or no knowledge of digital marketing will get something from it," Paul Ten Haken said.

Click Rain's Paul Ten Haken kicks off tomorrow's event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Sioux Falls. He is among a handful of local and national digital leaders lending their expertise for free.

"I think the market is just really hungry for information about digital marketing. Because it is changing so fast, and because there are a lot of unknowns, people are looking for information from experts on how they can beef up their own online digital presence," Ten Haken said.

Organizers want to challenge participants to start thinking about digital marketing in a new way, all while analyzing the future of the web, mobile, and emerging technologies.

Free tickets to the event are sold out, however KELOLAND.COM will live-stream Trendigital in its entirety.

It runs from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday.
