In a little more than a month, people across Sioux Falls will come together to tree the town.
If you lost a tree to this spring's ice storm and didn't get a chance to sign up, you still have time.
The Helpline Center has extended the deadline. It's now taking applications until September 15.
Then on October 26, volunteers will plant trees for people with disabilities, the elderly and those with low incomes.
There is no cost to the homeowner.
