Tree Drop Off Locations Open In Sioux Falls

December 29, 2012, 9:31 PM

Tree Drop Off Locations Open In Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The drop off locations are free of charge.

They are only taking real trees and they ask that you remove all decorations, medal stands, and and plastic bags that you may keep your tree in.

The city will use these recycled trees for many different projects.

"The zoo will probably come and take a few for their animals, DNR comes out, they use them for the lakes for fish habit," said Carl Meyerhoff with the City of Sioux Falls.

Meyerhoff also says the city will use the rest of the trees for mulch.

There are two locations where you can drop off your tree in Sioux Falls.
