Drivers can once again travel on Interstate 29 after flash flooding forced the road to be closed Monday evening.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says the road is now open south of Sioux Falls. There is still water along the road at mile marker 61, so be cautious while driving in that area.
Officials also caution travelers that S.D. Highway 46 is underwater at the Iowa state line. S.D. Highway 19A between Centerville and S.D. Highway 19 is also flooded so traffic is being controlled with flaggers.
With so many flooded roads, drivers are asked to check Safe Travel USA before traveling.
