SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Some major sections of interstate are still closed in South Dakota and travel is not advised on many other highways in the northeast part of the state.
I-90 is closed from Chamberlain to Wall and I-29 is closed from Sioux Falls to the North Dakota border. Officials closed the roads Sunday afternoon as a winter storm moved across the state.

State authorities say heavy snow and strong winds created blizzard conditions with drifting snow and limited visibility making travel dangerous to impossible.
Because of the President's Day holiday, there are not too many people on the roads Monday morning but conditions are still slick. While many schools are closed because of the holiday, there are still more than 60 closings or late starts on the KELOLAND Closeline
