Train, Car Crash South Of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, SD -

Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash between a train and car south of Harrisburg.

It happened at the railroad tracks on 274th Street after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the car is injured but it doesn't appear to be life threatening.

Hand County authorities say the 81-year-old Pierre man who had been missing since Sunday morning was found dead.

The Hand County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Leroy Nye, who was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
