Six Months after his death due to alleged child abuse, Tyrese Ruffin is still changing the lives of many in KELOLAND.
Before every Sioux Falls Storm home football game there is a booth set up in the lobby of the arena with shirts, bracelets and a free will donation basket for the Touchdowns For Ty! Campaign
100 percent of the sales go towards supporting the children at the Children's Home Society in Sioux Falls in Ty's name. The goal is not just about raising money, but also raising awareness on child abuse.
On the field, Storm Wide Receiver James Terry, who co-created the campaign, is using his football skills to raise money towards the cause. People are pledging money for every time that Terry scores a touchdown to go towards the Children's Home Society.
