The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for portions of our coverage area including Codington, Deuel, Grant, Hamlin, Roberts and Union counties in South Dakota.
The storm prediction center had posted a moderate risk for severe weather for this area earlier Thursday. Most of Minnesota and portions of northwestern Iowa, northeast Nebraska and northern and eastern North Dakota are also under the watch.
