Over the past several years the four big Sioux Falls schools have been at or near the top of high school football in South Dakota. That usually makes for a big night when the Presidents Bowl comes around.
It will be no different this Saturday when No. 2 Lincoln battles No. 4 O'Gorman and No. 3 Washington faces top ranked Roosevelt. Every team is 1-0 after wins this past week. New Warrior head coach Chad Stadem used to watch the games as a fan, now he's excited to be on the sideline.
"It's going to be pretty fun. It's going to be a lot of fun in terms of, I have got friends and family and I know all the kids have friends and family. Everyone's excited to be a part of it," Stadem said.
"Probably as close as it ever has been, at least since I've been coaching here. I really believe that any one of these teams could knock off the other. If that so happens, come around playoff time, you're probably going to see them again," Lincoln head coach Aaron Beavers said.
Tickets are still available for the fun day of football and other activities. You can buy one at Lewis ahead of time at a discounted rate of seven dollars. We'll break down the matchups at ten.
