The Fall River Sheriff's office says three people were taken to the hospital when a U.S. Air Force tanker aircraft crashed while fighting the White Draw Fire.
It happened around 6 p.m. MDT.
The cause of the crash is unknown and under investigation.
The C-130 aircraft is a Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System which the U.S. Forest Service uses to fight fires from the air. It can discharge 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in less than five seconds.
