Thousands Wake Up Early For SF Marathon

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
It was another beautiful day outside and thousands of runners woke up bright and early to start running.
The annual Sioux Falls Marathon and Half-Marathon started at 6:45 Sunday morning at Howard Wood Field. This is only the 2nd year the city has offered a full marathon, but the 14th year of the half.
Organizers say more than 2,400 people participated in Sunday's races.

Hand County authorities say the 81-year-old Pierre man who had been missing since Sunday morning was found dead.

The Hand County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Leroy Nye, who was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
