Area bikers with "Those Guys ABATE" gathered Sunday at the Children's Home Society in Sioux Falls to ride and play some poker to benefit the non-profit.
Roughly 430 bikers met in the non-profit's parking lot for their Poker Run on Sunday. From there they rode to Cheap Shots bar in Tea, where for a $10 buy-in, participants could compete for over $4,000 in donated gift cards.
All proceeds from the day's Poker Run benefit Children's Home Society.
“Really we wouldn't be around, if it wouldn't be for a lot of friends, and you look around, what a great group of people, that have put a lot of time and effort into planning it, and then all the participation,” Development Director for Children’s Home Society Rick Weber said.
The best poker hand overall would receive $480 of donated cards. Last year the organization raised $7,000 for Children's Home Society.
