The Keg Closes In Sioux Falls

October 16, 2012, 1:43 PM

The Keg Closes In Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A Sioux Falls restaurant known for its chicken has closed.

The Keg announced over the weekend that it was shutting the doors after 34 years of business in the city.

The Keg was established in eastern Sioux Falls and expanded to its westside restaurant at 57th Street and Marion Road in 2004.  In 2010, the owners decided to close the restaurant at 26th Street and Sycamore Avenue, making the western Sioux Falls location the only one in town.

A statement on the restaurant's Facebook page says the last four years have been very tough for the Keg.  The owners say they stuck it out as long as they could.
