SIOUX FALLS, SD -
At least 12 tenants, including eight families, were flooded out of their apartments Wednesday night.
Sewage backed up into three apartment buildings off North Prairie Avenue in central Sioux Falls. Residents say it started at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
In all, about two-and-a-half inches covered the entire bottom floor, and everything that was contaminated has to be thrown out. Managers say cleaning crews are coming out picking up carpet and furniture. And they'll also bleach the entire floor. In the meantime, tenants have been moved to another building.
