Target Sees A Lot Of Black Friday Shoppers

Target Sees A Lot Of Black Friday Shoppers
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

As some shoppers head home after a long night, others are just getting started on their Black Friday shopping.

There were quite a few people at the East Side Target in Sioux Falls Friday morning. Workers say the crowds come and go, with thousands out Thursday night when the store opened at 9 p.m.

In fact, lines were so long that some people decided to leave the store and, instead, come shop early Friday morning.

A lot of customers at this Target say they came here because it was far less busy than stores near the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls.

Target started to see its second shift of crowds around 6 a.m. More people were coming into the store to try to find the deals they had their eyes on. And there weren’t any major lines at the check outs Friday morning.

In fact, many early morning shoppers say they came out because they expected less people to be out early Friday morning. So, they hid from the colder temperatures and longer lines Thursday night.

And Target staggered a lot of their deals for customers. For example, at 4 a.m. Friday, Target had a deal that if you spent over $50 you’d receive a $10 gift card. That was also a reason why some shoppers were out early Friday morning.

A lot of customers shopping Friday morning say they’re not upset they didn’t hit the store Thursday night, especially since places like Target have deals going on all day long. And if you’re out shopping this weekend, Target has holiday deals running into the weekend.
