Symposium About Missouri River On Thursday At USD
VERMILLION, SD -

The University of South Dakota is holding the annual Missouri River Institute Research Symposium on Thursday.

Organizers of the event say researchers from universities and from federal, state and local agencies plan to discuss the science of the Missouri River and flooding issues.

Groups contributing to the symposium include the National Park Service; Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and South Dakota Department of Game, Fish & Parks.

The event is free and open to the public.
