A man suspected in the theft of a bracelet worth more than $30,000 from an Aberdeen jewelry store has been arrested in Florida.
Brown County prosecutor Chris White says that the man was arrested Tuesday on unrelated charges, and Florida law officers discovered he was wanted in South Dakota. Authorities did not immediately identify him.
Police say a man walked into a Riddle's Jewelry store in an Aberdeen mall last Nov.1 and asked an employee to show him the bracelet. He snatched the bracelet and fled.
