Enjoy South Dakota history during Watertown's 125 Celebration. The free, all-day celebration will be held at the Joy Ranch located north of Watertown on Highway 20. Activities will take place in the one-room school and country church. Other areas will feature old-time fiddle music, weaving, butter churning, a stagecoach and cowboy shootouts. A historical re-enactor portraying South Dakota's first Governor Arthur C. Mellette will also be there.
A Night of Hope is a concert benefiting the Center of Hope in Sioux Falls. Gospel singer Doug Anderson and the singing trio Beyond the Ashes are the featured performers. The concert begins at 7 pm at Faith Baptist Fellowship at 601 S. 57th Street. A free will offering will be taken.
