WATERTOWN, SD -

Enjoy South Dakota history during Watertown's 125 Celebration.  The free, all-day celebration will be held at the Joy Ranch located north of Watertown on Highway 20.  Activities will take place in the one-room school and country church.  Other areas will feature old-time fiddle music, weaving, butter churning, a stagecoach and cowboy shootouts.  A historical re-enactor portraying South Dakota's first Governor Arthur C. Mellette will also be there.

A Night of Hope is a concert benefiting the Center of Hope in Sioux Falls.  Gospel singer Doug Anderson and the singing trio Beyond the Ashes are the featured performers.  The concert begins at 7 pm at Faith Baptist Fellowship at 601 S. 57th Street.  A free will offering will be taken.

The Native American band Brule performers tonight at the Historic Palace Theatre in downtown Luverne, Minnesota.  The performance is at 6:30 pm.  Tickets are $20.

Riverboat Days in Yankton include a Classic Cruiser Car Show at Riverside Park; an Arts & Crafts Show at the Yankton Mall; plus live music a kids' pedal pull and a bicycle stunt show.  Buses will shuttle Riverboat Days visitors from noon to 6 pm.

The Baltic American Legion is serving a French toast breakfast from 9 am to 12:30 pm.  The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for kids.

The Renner American Legion is hosting The Renner Days Pancake Breakfast.  Serving time is 8 am to 12:30 pm.  The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for kids, free for ages 7 and under.

The Brookings Community Theatre presents the musical Shakespeare spoof, Romeo and Harriet.  Show time is 2 pm at the Performing Arts Center on the campus of South Dakota State University.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students.

Navigate the 11 acres of the Heartland Country Corn Maze on Highway 11 near Harrisburg.  This year's maze is in the design of bears.  The hours are from noon to 5 pm.  Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for kids, free for ages 4 and under.

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome at the Washington Pavilion include Dinosaur 13, Maleficent, D-Day: Normandy 1944 and Waking the T-Rex: The Story of Sue.

New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include The Giver, rated PG-13, Boyhood, The Expendables 3, and Let's Be Cops, all rated R.

Get a taste of culture at New American Garden Market at the Hy Vee on East 10th Street in Sioux Falls. Vendors are selling their produce from 10 am to 3 pm every Saturday and Sunday morning through September.  Proceeds will help refugee families from nine countries.

The Hartford Farmers Market runs from 11 am to 2 pm at the Hartford Building Center at 1001 North Oaks Avenue.  The farmers market will be open every Sunday through October.
