All vehicles are welcome to take part in benefit ride for tornado victims of Wessington Springs.  Riders and drivers will meet at the Longhorn Bar in Mitchell at 11 a.m.  The ride to Wessington Springs begins at 11:30 a.m.  Organizers are accepting money and non-perishable food donations.

The Angels with a Dream Car Show is a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish South Dakota.  The car show goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Great Bear Recreation Park and also includes a silent auction, wine-tasting and live music.  Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children facing life-threatening medical conditions.

The University of Okoboji Corvette Club is hosting Vettes in the Park.  Check out all the corvettes for free from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park in Arnolds Park, Iowa. 

The Brookings Kite & Bike Festival wraps up today at the Fishback Soccer Park.  The festival runs from noon to 4 pm and includes kite flying plus the Strider Bike Adventure Course, a bike obstacle course and bike riding tours of Dakota Nature Park.  You can also purchase SDSU ice cream with all proceeds going to next year's festival.

The Sioux Empire Community Theatre presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at 2 p.m. in the Zabel Studio of the Orpheum Theater in downtown Sioux Falls.  Tickets are $10.

Local entertainers are showcasing their talents during a Variety Show at Historic Prairie Village.  The show begins at 7 p.m. in the Lawrence Welk Opera House.  Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for kids, free for ages 5 and under.  Proceeds will go to the preservation of the opera house.  Prairie Village is located two miles west of Madison, SD on Highway 34.

Prairie Repertory Theatre presents the comedy Making God Laugh.  The performance is at 2 p.m. at Doner Auditorium on the campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings.

The Sioux Falls Municipal Band performs two free concerts today.  The first is at 3 p.m. in McKennan Park, followed by an 8 p.m. performance at Terrace Park.

Films playing at the Wells Fargo CineDome at the Washington Pavilion include Million Dollar Arm, Great White Shark and Watermelon Magic. 

New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include Jersey Boys, rated R and Think Like a Man Too, rated PG-13. 

Sangria Sunday features live music and South Dakota wines at Strawbale Winery in Renner.  The hours are from 1-4 p.m.  Admission is $5 a carload.
