SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Empire Sportsmen's Show wraps up Sunday at the Sioux Falls Arena & Convention Center.  Hours are from 10 am to 5 pm.  Activities include The Great Bear Show, Kids Fishing Workshop, Championship Crappie Tactics, 10 Secrets to Harvesting Trophy Bucks, Winning Walleye Tactics and Fishing Success on Lake of the Woods.  Admission to the sportsmen's show is $7.50 for adults, $2.50 for children, free for kids 5 and under.

St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hawarden, IA is hosting a Mardi Gras Roast Beef Dinner from 11 am to 1 pm.  The cost is $9 for adults, $6 for children, free for kids 4 and under.  There will also be kids games plus a raffle for a quilt and $100 worth of meat.

Messiah New Hope Lutheran Church is hosting a Chili Cook-Off from noon to 2 pm.  The event also includes a silent auction.  Messiah New Hope Lutheran is located at 5001 E. Madison Street in Sioux Falls.

This is the final day of city-supervised skating at all Sioux Falls outdoor rinks.    You can skate one final time at Campus, Frank Olson, Memorial, McKennan, Sherman and Tuthill Parks from 1-8 pm.  It's also the final day of skate rentals. 

The Sioux Empire Community Theatre presents the comedy Noises Off at 2 pm in the downtown Orpheum Theater.  Tickets are $18.

Benson's Flea Market features antiques and collectibles on sale at the Expo Building of the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.  Hours are from 11 am to 4 pm.  Admission is $2, free for kids 12 and under.

The Augustana Performing & Visual Arts presents the award-winning musical Next to Normal .  The performance is at 2:30 pm in the Edith Mortenson Center Theatre.  Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and free for Augie students and faculty.

You can see first-hand the construction progress inside the new Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.  A free viewing area is open to the public on weekends through March 30th.  Today's hours are from 1-4 pm. Just go to the area near Meeting Room 14 of the Sioux Falls Convention Center, next door.

The Nostalgia Night Film Series presents the 1935 Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers classic Top Hat.  The movie plays at 6:30 pm at the historic Elks Theatre in downtown Rapid City.

New Hollywood releases playing at a theater near you include Son of God and Non-Stop, both rated PG-13.
