Presidents Day holiday hours are in effect at Great Bear Recreation Park.  You can ski, snowboard and go tubing from 9 am to 10 pm today and Monday.  Great Bear is located on East Rice Street, 2-miles east of Interstate 229.

A taco bar fundraiser is a benefit for an Arlington, SD student battling cancer.  They'll be serving tacos from 11 am to 2 pm at Arlington High School with all proceeds to help with medical expenses for 17-year-old Diego Campos.  The event is sponsored by St. John's Catholic Church.  An account for the Campos family is set up at Citizens State Bank.

Works by more than two-dozen local and regional artists are featured during the Artists of the Plains Show & Sale.  The free show is at the Holiday Inn City Centre in downtown Sioux Falls.  Today's  hours are from 10 am to 3:30 pm.

Boy Scout Troop #582 is hosting a Soup & Chili Feed from 11 am to 2 pm at Beaver Valley Lutheran Church.  Tickets are $5, $3 for students, free for kids 5 and under.  Beaver  Valley Lutheran is located 1 mile east of Brandon Golf Course.

Popular Myths-Archeological Facts is the topic of the Third Sunday Archeology Program at Augustana College.  An archeologist with Minnesota State University Moorhead will give a free presentation beginning at 2 pm in the  Gilbert Science Center at 33rd & Summit.  A question and answer session will follow.  Refreshments will be served.

Amy Chapel is the special guest performer at the Dakota Opry.  The music goes from 2-4 pm at the Moose Lodge at 1926 Burnside Avenue in Sioux Falls.  Tickets are $5, free for kids 10 and under.

South Dakota illusionist Reza performs at 2 pm at the Corn Palace Festival in Mitchell, SD.  Tickets are $20.

The Lewis & Clark Theatre Company presents the comedy Arsenic & Old Lace at Yankton's Dakota Theatre.  The performance is at 2 pm.  Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for youth.

Motorcycles and ATV's will go full-throttle during the Lake Brandt Ice Races in Chester, SD.  Registration is at 10 am, practice is at 11 am, the races start at noon in front of the Shipwreck Bar & Grill.

The Greater Midwest Toy Show is taking place this weekend at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Sioux Falls.  You can check out all the toys on display and for sale from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The Stampede hockey team takes on the Green Bay Gamblers at the Sioux Falls Arena.  They'll drop the puck at 6:05 pm.  Tickets start at $8.50.
