Guitarist Tony Melendez performs a concert at McCook Central Auditorium in Salem, SD to celebrate the 125th anniversary of St. Mary's Catholic School. Melendez, who was born without arms and has performed for the late Pope John Paul, takes the stage at 7 pm. Tickets are $5, free for pre-schoolers.
Motorcycles and ATV's will go full-throttle during the Lake Brandt Ice Races in Chester, SD. Registration is at 10 am, practice is at 11 am, the races start at noon in front of the Shipwreck Bar & Grill.
The Sioux Empire Community Theatre presents God of Carnage at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Sioux Falls. The performance is at 2 pm in the Anne Zabel Studio. Tickets are $15.
Learn how to swing dance for free at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls. Beginning lessons start at 1 pm with open dancing to follow from 1:40 to 4 pm. All ages are welcome, no partners needed.
