The Kimball Fire Department is hosting an Open House and Fire Extinguisher Day. Kimball firefighters will be on hand from 4-7 pm to demonstrate trucks and equipment. You can also have your fire extinguishers checked and refilled from 4-6 pm. The firefighters will serve a meal at the Kimball Fire Hall from 5-6:30 pm.

Find your way through 11-acres of paths carved out at the Heartland Corn Maze. Hours are noon to 5 pm. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for kids, free for ages 4 and under. The corn maze is located on Highway 11, south of Harrisburg. It's open weekends through October 20th.
