Sioux Falls outdoor skate rinks are open for the season.
The rinks are located at Tuthill, Campus, McKennan, Memorial, Sherman and Frank Olson Parks from 1-8 pm today.
Skate rentals range from $1 to $3, depending on age.
Fresh snow is making for some ideal skiing conditions at Great Bear Recreation Park.
Holiday hours are now in effect.
You can hit the slopes from 9 am to 10 pm.
Great Bear is located between Sioux Falls and Brandon on East Rice Street.

Spirit of Truth Lutheran Church in Brandon presents a Live Nativity at the Arny and Kay Erickson farm in Valley Springs.
The performances are at 6 & 7 pm.
A free will offering will go to missions in Jamaica.

The display is open from 1-7 pm.

Check out all the decorated trees in Pierre during Christmas at the Capitol.
The capitol building is open to the public from 8 am to 10 pm through Wednesday.
The Lebahn Family Train will be providing rides at Prairie Village, west of Madison, SD from 5-9 pm.
A free will offering will be taken with all proceeds going to Prairie Village and cancer research.

Santa Claus visits Christmas at the Western Mall tonight.
Parents are invited to bring their cameras and take pictures of their kids with Santa from 5-8 pm.

The light and music display runs nightly through New Year's Day from 5:30-9:30 pm.
