SIOUX FALLS, SD - The 39th annual German Christmas Service will be held at First Lutheran Church in downtown Sioux Falls.
The service, which includes carols and a sermon in German, begins at 4 pm.
Coffee and homemade refreshments will be served following the service.
First Lutheran is located at 12th and Dakota.
An Evening at the Stable is a Living Nativity presented at Canton Lutheran Church.
There will be three free showings: 5:30, 6:00 & 6:30 pm.
Canton Lutheran is also performing a Christmas Cantata Lead Me Back to Bethlehem at 4 pm, followed by a Holiday Soup Supper at 5 pm.
The church is located at 124 East 2nd Street in Canton.
The Hegg Brothers will perform holiday favorites and swing classics during a concert at the downtown Orpheum Theater.
Their Holiday Jam starts at 4 pm.
Tickets are $22.
Holiday Jam is a fundraiser for Children's Care Hospital & School.
The Promised Hope is a Christmas Cantata performed at First United Methodist Church in Pierre.
The combined choirs of First United Methodist and Resurrection Lutheran Church will sing from 2-4 pm.
Coffee, treats and fellowship will follow.
Meet Santa Claus at Scheels in Sioux Falls.
Santa will visit with kids and hear their Christmas wishes from 1-4 pm.
Scheels Sports is located at the Western Mall.
Following your visit with Santa, check out the massive holiday light display at Christmas at the Western Mall.
The free12-minute indoor light shows go from 5:30 to 9:30 pm.
Christmas at the Western Mall is a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish that takes place every night through New Year's Day.
If you prefer your holiday lights outside, take a stroll through Falls Park for Winter Wonderland.
Falls Park is decked out for the holidays every night through January 8th.

Hand County authorities say the 81-year-old Pierre man who had been missing since Sunday morning was found dead.
