SIOUX FALLS, SD - NAMI Sioux Falls hosts the 19th annual Candle Light Vigil & Walk tonight kicking off Mental Illness Awareness Week.
A prayer service begins at 6 pm at First Lutheran Church in downtown Sioux Falls.
The 8-block walk immediately follows the prayer service.
Refreshments will be served after the walk.

Help stop hunger and poverty globally and locally by taking part in the Sioux Falls CROP Hunger Walk at Falls Park.
Registration begins at 1 pm.
The walk starts at 2 pm.
A portion of the funds raised will go to Community Outreach, The Banquet, Feeding South Dakota and the Mobile Food Pantry.

A Silent Auction and Raffle Benefit for 3-year-old leukemia patient Olivia Joy Haugan will be held at 12:30 pm at Trinity Baptist Church in Sioux Falls.
Trinity Baptist is located at 2400 West 18th Street.
A fund has also been set up at First National Bank in Sioux Falls under the account named Team Olivia.

Pick your own apples and pumpkins at Country Apple Orchard's Harvest Festival.
Today's hours are from noon to five.
Country Apple Orchard is located 4.5 miles south of Sioux Falls on Minnesota.

The Garden of Weedin' in Valley Springs is hosting Pumpkin Picking Days from 11 am to 7 pm.
Each pumpkin costs $1, plus tax.
Fresh, locally grown produce is also for sale.

South Dakota's longest-running flea market starts another season this weekend.
The doors open at Benson's Flea Market at 11 am in the North Room of the Expo Building at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
Admission is $2 for adults.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort on Interstate 90 in Sioux Falls opens its corn maze to pets today.
Mutts in the Maze is a fundraiser for the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, from 1-5 pm.
Admission is $8, $5 for kids 11 and under.

Northern Plains Boxer Rescue is holding its monthly Meet & Greet at PetCo in Sioux Falls.
You can meet some of the boxers available for adoption from 1-3 pm.

Learn how to swing dance for free at the Old Courthouse Museum in downtown Sioux Falls.
Beginning swing dance lessons go from 1-1:30 pm, followed by open dancing from 1:30-4 pm.
All ages are welcome and no partners are necessary.

Grace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls is hosting a Soup & Pie Supper with a Country Store from 4-7 pm.
There will be baked goods, crafts, lefse and a silent auction.
Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for kids 4-10.
Grace Lutheran is located at 3300 E. 18th Street.

St. Anthony Church in Hoven is holding its annual Fall Bazaar.
It's at the Hoven American Legion from 11 am to 1:30 pm.
Enjoy a swiss steak dinner, plus games bingo and raffles.
It costs $8 for adults, $6 for children, free for pre-schoolers.

Mrs. South Dakota International will be crowned tonight during a pageant at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Sioux Falls.
The pageant begins at 7 pm.
Admission is $10.
