STURGIS, SD -
The western South Dakota town of Sturgis is known for its annual motorcycle rally, but a Mustang car rally also is gaining recognition.
Ed Hinker, an organizer, says about 750 Mustang owners brought cars to the annual event that wrapped up Monday, the most in the event's five years. Participation has grown from about 150 cars the first year.
Car owner Dean Wenzel drove 500 miles from Minnesota to attend the rally. He says he likes the show so much he's traveled there all five years.
