SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The second of two men arrested in connection with the robbery, arson and killing of a Sioux Falls man back in July has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
23-year-old Payton Strum admitted to the crime Thursday morning. Prosecutors say Strum and Benjamin Carter robbed Joseph Cynkar in his Sioux Falls home. In the process, they covered Cynkar's head, tied him up, beat him to death and then tried to hide the body just across the border in Lyon County, Iowa.
Carter pleaded guilty to manslaughter last month. Both men will be sentenced at a later date.
