Two tornadoes touched town in northern Iowa Sunday night, damaging homes and businesses.
A dairy farm north of Newkirk was hit. Crews from Sioux Dairy equipment worked through the night to get the cows milking again.
On top of the thousands of dollars worth of structural damage, the cows could be in trouble if they don't get back in the parlor.
"We got it so they can milk cows but now they need to get everything sanitized and we're waiting for water lines to get hooked back up," Will Warntjes said.
Confirmed tornadoes touched down Sunday night just down the road from Newkirk near Hospers, Iowa. The tornadoes hit at 8:37 and 8:52 p.m.
