A warm day is in the forecast with a few showers scattered through KELOLAND, mainly in central areas. Highs today will range from about 84 in Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, to around 90 in Rapid City. While a shower will be possible in both Sioux Falls in Aberdeen, the chances of rain are slim.
The forecast looks partly cloudy for tonight. Low temperatures will range from the upper 50s in Aberdeen to the mid 60s in Sioux Falls. Warmer weather is expected tomorrow across KELOLAND with highs in the mid to upper 80s in both Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, with lower 90s in Pierre in Rapid City. This will set the tone for a warmer forecast Friday and into the weekend. Highs will likely be in the 90's with a few 100s possible near Pierre.
The trends are looking slightly cooler early next week along with a chance of scattered rain returning to the region Sunday and Monday. Chances for substantial cooling will likely hold off until at least Tuesday of next week. Overall, the trend will likely stay at least near normal, even with a cold front from Canada.
