We have a mild day on the way for much of KELOLAND, but more wind and chance of snow will be heading our way. Highs this afternoon will range from the mid to upper 40s in the west, to the mid 30s in the northeast. Sioux Falls will get close to 40 as winds increase from the southwest at 10-20mph. A cold front will head into KELOLAND tonight with areas of light snow developing and stronger winds. A winter weather advisory has been posted for Sisseton, Webster, and Britton because of new snowfall of 2-4” with stronger winds and blowing snow. There will be areas of blowing snow tonight, so if you have deeper snow at your location, keep that in mind for morning travel tomorrow.
Light snow will be likely in most of eastern KELOLAND tomorrow along with stronger winds from the northwest. We’ll keep an eye on blowing snow issues with the wind. Colder air will be moving south during the day and highs will fall into the teens Friday as arctic air returns to much of the region.
