We have a quiet day in the forecast with mostly sunny skies in most areas. Highs will range from 42 in Aberdeen to 51 in Sioux Falls. Winds will be light in most areas from the south at 5-10 mph.
A weak cold front will move through KELOLAND tonight with lows dropping into the 20s. As winds shift to the northwest behind the front, tomorrow will be a little cooler but mostly sunny. Highs will drop back into the upper 30s in Aberdeen, while upper 40s will continue in our southern counties along the Nebraska border.
Warmer trends will resume Friday, with a stronger breeze developing from the south by Saturday. That wind will help temperatures reach the 50s by the weekend, with even warmer trends possible early next week.
50s will be likely next week, with some 60s possible as well. The pattern shows no signs of winter weather…at least through Thanksgiving.
