We have a cool start to the morning in KELOLAND with morning lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s. With partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies, highs will top out in the 60s in most areas, with a few lower 70s in the southwest. A weak cold front will head south tonight, coming through the area with a change in wind direction and cooler temperatures for tomorrow. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid 40s in the northeast, while highs will remain close to 70 in Pine Ridge.
The forecast will trend cooler as we head into the weekend. Highs will be falling mostly into the 40s this weekend with a slight chance of rain or snow showers across the east. The cooler trend will not last long as another ridge of high pressure develops across west early next week. This should result in some warmer weather for much of KELOLAND. No major storms are in the forecast right now, although there are some trends toward more active weather possible by the end of next week.
