SIOUX FALLS, SD - Areas of light mixed precipitation continue to move across eastern KELOLAND. Amounts are very light, but be aware of slick spots on the roads. The activity should be moving through quickly this morning, with skies partly cloudy this afternoon with highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
Tonight should be quiet with lows in the mid teens to lower 20s. That will set the stage for warmer weather tomorrow with highs in the 40s in most areas and near 50 in Pierre. This will be the warmest day for the week, with a cold front dropping south late Thursday and Friday. This will lead to cooler weather Friday and Saturday, but highs will still be in the upper 30s in the east and lower 40s in the west.
There is still the potential for rain or snow on Monday as a storm system heads toward KELOLAND. It’s certainly something to watch, but there’s still plenty of uncertainty as to how strong this storm will be and where the heaviest precipitation will fall.
