Storm Center Update-Wednesday AM

SIOUX FALLS, SD - It’s another chilly morning in KELOLAND and the weather looks very cool today with highs in the 40s in most areas. Winds will be lighter, but we’ll still have north breezes at 10-15mph in Sioux Falls. Expect even colder weather tonight with lows dropping into the mid 20s in Sioux Falls, with a few spots in the upper teens by the morning under mostly clear skies. Tomorrow will be a little warmer, especially in the west with highs back in the lower 60s in Rapid City. Sioux Falls and much of the eastern areas will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Warmer weather is likely by the weekend with highs in the 60s. It will remain dry through the weekend as well.

Authorities said a 16-year-old student fired a gun at the school Wednesday morning. Law enforcement said the injury was a flesh wound.

Authorities did not identify the victim, but described him as a 16 year old from Minnehaha County.

The teenager found dead on Interstate 90 has been identified as an O'Gorman High School student.

At 10:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies found a body at Interstate 90 and North Kiwanis Avenue, near the Interstate 29 interchange.
