SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Scattered showers continue across portions of eastern KELOLAND. The areas of scattered rain are expected to decrease through the morning, but cloud cover may continue longer along the I-29 area and points east. Look for clear skies, sunshine, and warmer weather for Aberdeen, Pierre, and Rapid City. Highs today will range from the lower 70s around Sioux Falls to the upper 70s in Pierre.
Clear skies are expected tonight with lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s with light southeast winds. This will set the stage for a warmer day tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Winds will be stronger from the south, gusting to near 35 miles per hour in central South Dakota.
Look for another warmer day on Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 70s in central and northeastern KELOLAND, with lower 80s around Sioux Falls. Rapid City and the Black Hills will already start trending cooler, with highs in the upper 60s and a chance of showers on Thursday.
This will be the start of a cooler trend on Friday, with scattered showers in the forecast. Chances of rain will be a little higher in Sioux Falls by Saturday, along with highs only in the mid 60s. This temporary cool down will be replaced by warmer weather Sunday into Monday with highs returning to the 70s.
