Areas of clouds continue across KELOLAND as cool north winds continue today, but lighter than yesterday in eastern areas. Highs will range from the upper 20s in the east, to the lower 40s in Rapid City. There will be a slight chance of rain or snow showers in the west as well today.
The pockets of clouds will be decreasing a bit through tonight and tomorrow as highs remain cool. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 20s in the east, but more 40s are likely in the west.
The weekend weather is looking warmer with highs likely in the 50s in western KELOLAND. This warmer pattern will be short-lived as a clipper system enters the plains from the northwest late Sunday into Monday.
This system could deliver some meaningful amounts of rain and snow to KELOLAND, but details are still very early to call. Plan on a 50% chance of rain or snow across most areas, so some welcome moisture appears to be ahead as well.
