Storm Center Update-Thursday AM

October 25, 2012, 7:10 AM by Brian Karstens

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Areas of snow continue to coat KELOLAND this morning with .7” in Sioux Falls as of 6am.

Kimball is reporting 4”, one of the heavier totals we have this morning.  The snow will continue to push into MN and IA this morning.  There will be a few slick spots and a few schools are running late on closeline, so check that out too.

The snow will be ending in Sioux Falls late this morning, with decreasing clouds for the afternoon.

Temperatures will make into the lower 40s with a gusty northwest wind.  This will set-up a cold night tonight with lows into the lower 20s in many areas.

We are looking for cool weather for the weekend with highs in the 40s and a slow warming trend into early next week.
