Spring is in the air after a very pleasant day yesterday in KELOLAND. Scattered late day t-showers developed and produced some locally moderate rainfall and some small hail. We may see additional showers and t-showers today as another disturbance pushes into KELOLAND. NW winds will be stronger today, especially in western areas where winds up t 40mph are possible.
Tonight looks partly cloudy as showers end this evening. Overnight lows will be mainly in the 30s.
Warmer weather is back in the forecast tomorrow as 70 degree weather returns to Rapid City. Sioux Falls will be cooler, but upper 50s are likely.
Wednesday looks much warmer with widespread 70s and 80s returning. As nice as that sounds, the fire danger will likely be much higher and we’ll have a west or southwest breeze during the day too. Still, it looks much warmer.
Thursday may be a little cooler, but overall, temperatures still look very mild for this time of year. We could get back to the 70s again on Friday and Saturday.
A stronger cold front will affect KELOLAND by Sunday, but until then, enjoy the mild weather!
