Your Labor Day forecast is looking pleasant with mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s in both Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, with 80s in Pierre and Rapid City. It looks like another cool forecast tonight too, with lows in the lower to mid 50s in the east and lower 60s in the west.
Warmer weather trends will be noticeable tomorrow with highs rebounding to near 90 in Aberdeen. The dry conditions there will contribute to that high temperature. Sioux Falls will be back to 85, with more 90s likely in the central and west. Chances of rain will remain low, but there is a slight chance of rain West River tonight and tomorrow. This small chance of rain will spread east on Wednesday, but it is still looking like just scattered rain at this point. Highs will be a little cooler as a result of this system passing through the region.
Warmer conditions will resume on Friday and into the start of the weekend. Highs should be in the 90s again in many areas west of Sioux Falls. So you can safely say summer weather isn’t over just yet.
