Chilly winds continue across KELOLAND this morning with wind chills into the single digits above and below zero. Make sure you bundle up as you head out the door. Highs will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s in most areas across the east, with upper 30s in the west.
Conditions will be cold again tonight with lows in the teens in the east, with 20s in the west. Warmer weather will start to rebuild across the region tomorrow and a few light rain or snow showers may develop across the west and north. We have a 20% chance of rain or snow in the forecast for Rapid City tomorrow morning, and a few of those light pockets of precipitation could drift into northern SD by the afternoon.
Highs will be warming for the rest of the week with highs returning to the 40s and 50s. Rapid City will be between 55 and 60 by the end of the week, so no signs of winter just yet in the 7-day forecast.
