SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Another mild day is in the forecast with partly sunny skies forecast across the region. Highs will climb well into the 70s in most areas, with some lower 80s possible in parts of central KELOLAND. Winds will be generally from the west or southwest at 5-15mph. Tomorrow will be just as warm in most areas with a breeze from the southwest.
The big change starts tomorrow night and Wednesday with cooler weather and developing northwest winds. A high wind watch has been issued for much of northwestern SD on Wednesday.
A few showers will accompany the frontal system and more showers may develop behind the low on Thursday. With or without the showers, the wind will be quite strong on Thursday, so we’ll be following those trends ahead. Look for highs mainly in the 50s after tomorrow, so enjoy the mild weather while it lasts.
Don’t forget, Scot has his winter forecast on tonight’s KELOLAND Live Doppler HD Winter Special at 6:30pm!
