We have a chilly start to the morning with wind chill advisories for areas north of Sioux Falls. Aberdeen has dropped to -18 Friday morning, but the mercury will be rising into the teens in many areas east of the James Valley, with mid to upper 20s around Pierre, and lower 30s in Rapid City.
A few light areas of snow could develop tonight in southeastern KELOLAND. Amounts should stay on the light side. Highs will be a little cooler tomorrow and the wind will increase from the northwest at 15-25 mph.
The rest of the weekend will remain chilly and mainly quiet. Highs will stay below normal much of the 7-day forecast. One of the colder days will be Wednesday with highs only in the single digits once again.
