SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Wind advisories have been posted for much of western and central KELOLAND Friday as NW winds increase at 25 to 50mph. Winds won’t be quite that strong in Sioux Falls and Aberdeen, but areas of clouds and sprinkles will be possible. Highs Friday will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Your weekend looks nicer with highs in the lower to middle 50s and less wind on Saturday. Also, more sunshine is likely. Sunday’s forecast will feature warmer temperatures, but stronger south winds and areas of clouds will be more likely.
Another storm system will be developing by late Monday into Tuesday. The heaviest precipitation will likely still track south of our area. However, Sioux Falls and the south will close enough to this storm track to keep an eye on its movement. Temperatures will also be close to freezing while the precipitation develops. We’ll keep you posted on this system and the cooler weather that will follow it this weekend
