Patches of morning fog will continue across eastern and central KELOLAND this morning, but conditions will be warming as we head into the afternoon. Highs today will range from the lower to middle 40’s in the east to upper fifties across the west. South winds overnight will keep temperatures mainly in the 30s…very mild for this time of year.
The weekend is still looking very warm with Saturday’s high temperature in Sioux Falls near 52. Highs will still be close to 60 in Rapid City and Winner. Sunday will be the warmest day across the region with widespread 60s likely.
Monday is looking colder as winds turn around to the west-northwest and will be gusty. Highs will still be in the 50s across most areas. Even with this cold front, it still looks fairly mild next week with no major arctic air masses in sight. Some of our long-range computer models are suggesting a chance of rain or snow by late next week. We will keep you posted.
