More Scattered T-storms Ahead…Warm Weather Continues…
Areas of rain are developing this morning in western SD with more on the way today. Some severe weather will be possible in western KELOLAND today, so we’ll keep you posted. Highs will be in the 80s in most areas. The rain that develops in the west today will spread east tonight and tomorrow morning. General amounts are expected below .50”, but locally heavy t-storms could produce more than that. A cold front will march across KELOLAND tomorrow morning, clearing the skies from west to east and this should make for a very nice Saturday afternoon and evening.
Our next chance of rain will be associated with a disturbance Sunday night and Monday, mainly in northern KELOLAND. The other story for Father’s Day will be the warmer weather, with highs returning to the 90s West River.
Looking ahead to next week, the weather will start cooling Tuesday and Wednesday. This patter will also be accompanied by scattered showers and t-storms, with the timing being the main challenge to the forecast.
