Mostly sunny skies are expected on Wednesday with highs in the 70s East River, with lower 60s across the west.
Severe weather risk on Thursday night for southcentral and southwestern SD, including Pierre, Rosebud, Hot Springs and Rapid City.
Heavy rain potential for Rapid City and the Black Hills Thursday night into Friday with rainfall totals over one inch is possible.
Cooler weekend ahead with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Another storm late Sunday into Monday with chilly rain East River and snow possible again West River.
European model suggests several inches of snow again in the northern Black Hills.
