We have a very chilly morning in KELOLAND with areas of frost. We have more frosty mornings ahead in the forecast too. In fact, temperatures look even colder tonight for both Sioux Falls and Aberdeen.
Today’s forecast will feature a blend of sun and clouds with highs in the mid to upper 50s in the east, with lower 60s in portions of SW SD. We also expect spotty showers today, but most of the rain looks light.
Lows tonight will be cold enough for more frost and freeze conditions. We are forecasting 25 in Aberdeen and 32 in Sioux Falls. Pierre and Rapid City will also be near freezing tomorrow morning.
We could be in the 30s again for another couple of nights as the cool air remains in place. Highs will stay 10-15 degrees below normal through Friday in most areas.
Temperatures will be warmer this weekend with more widespread 60s in the forecast. Along with the warmer weather will be chances of rain in the forecast Monday and Tuesday.
